We start each session with 'free play' activities. The activities are child led and every child is encouraged to choose activities they are interested in.
The children take turns to undertake the registration session. This is done through the medium of Welsh.
Focused activities are carried out after registration. Each activity is carefully planned to cover the 7 areas of learning as specified in the Foundation Phase curriculum. The children's progress is monitored in order to plan activities to meet each child's individual needs.
Outside play is an integral part of our daily routine. The children have opportunities to use a range of areas which include facilities such as a climbing frame, slide, rope climber, rock wall, bikes, parachute, wooden house, woodland area for forest school activities, grassed area for sports and games, ourdoor kitchen, and allotments for growing fruit and vegetables to use in our cooking activities.
The children have a healthy snack every day which consists of a range of fruit, vegetables, and bread products along with milk or water to drink.
Circle time allows opportunities for singing, stories, and introducing and strengthening important concepts to the children such as showing kindness to others.
The children thoroughly enjoy their time at the nursery and are continuously encouraged and supported to be confident, independent learners.

Confident, independent learners.
