Tedi Bach Nursery is a pre-school nursery based in Vere Street, Gilfach, Bargoed. Our mission is to provide high quality pre-school and wrap around provision that cares for and educates children from

2 - 5 years. We aim to create a supportive, fun learning environment to help your child reach their full potential. We offer exciting learning opportunities and stimulating play experiences.

 

We follow the Foundation Phase curriculum which includes the 'Cwricwlwm Cymreig’ (Welsh Curriculum). Our staff are fluent Welsh speakers and provide your child with the opportunity of developing new and existing skills through the medium of both Welsh and English. This ensures that your child has a good understanding of both languages in readiness for school. Parents then have the opportunity to choose Welsh or English medium education. 

 

Tedi Bach Nursery is registered with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (CSSIW). The CSSIW is a government body that regulate childcare. Inspections promote a high quality of care and education for your child. Tedi Bach Nursery is regulated to the highest standards at all times.

 

Tedi Bach Nursery is a member of the Wales Pre-school Providers Association (Wales PPA), a national membership organisation that promotes and supports the delivery of high quality pre-school care, education and learning across wales.

 

Tedi Bach Nursery is registered with the ‘Quality for All’ (QfA) early years quality assurance scheme. The scheme ensures the nursery continues achieving and maintaining a high quality of care for the children in the provision.
